Hi folks,

Planning my next trip to the States in May and I have a constant battle in my head about what and how much should I purchase, the US$ has constantly sat at 57cent to our NZ$ for most of the last year.

I may have to put my prices up this year to cover,I am sitting very constant with last year but but times are a changing as I am starting to get emails from some customers whom I deal with in the USA that are having trouble scourcing the products they need for their items, due to the new tarriffs.

As the end of the financial year approaches, last year has been so wonderful with the resurgence of country music stars coming to New Zealand,this has certainly played a great part in keepng my shop ticking over. 

I'm having my son in law look at my website to see what I can do to improve it( apart from me putting up more photos which I know I'm so slack on).

I have been asked by our local Rodney radio station to run my advertisment again. 

In store I have great amount of handbags at the moment (might pop a few up, when I have spare time!).I still have ladies cowboy boots, some great western cushions,3 sets of Texas Longhorns (tho these are not the longest I have ever had)and coming into winter,I have got heaps of lovely fleece blankets, still have a pretty good range of womans clothes but not a lot of mens,tshirts included (so happy at the way these sell,especially the Sturgis ones, am planning on heading back on this trip also)I have only a small range of rings left but have still got a good range of sterling silver earrings and pendants.

I am thinking that after easter we shall shorten our hours from 11-3 daily except for the weekend which is still quite busy.

Our local market has started to run it on the first Sunday of the month,which if last Sunday was anthing to gage from it will work well for me also,brought in a lot of different people.

Our local pub also has a band on a Saturday and a Sunday from 1-4pm weather permiting, and that is often fun and helps my day go by (sometimes depending on the caliber of the band it can be a stretch,but generally they are great.)The pub is just across the road from my store.  

Well I think this about covers things for now,I've written this several times now and keep forgetting to save to draft grr is this because I'm about to be another year older.
