After visiting America ten years ago,it revived my interest in Turquoise, I love it with a passion and the history behind it, the colours evoke such tranquility.
The desert and the people within it somehow relax me. It makes me feel years younger when I’m there, so much so that we have tried to go every year since.
We have since traveled virtually every State through America and some even more than once.
My husband has since passed and I will no longer be able to travel as many places as we loved to go,tho I am a very resourceful person and am now looking at other options to keep the variety up or maybe I should just be refining it,what do you think?
To our knowledge the makers stamp on the back of each piece is genuine, just ask and if I have the names that correspond with the initials, I will pass them on.
Our jewellery is sourced from a mixture of the Zuni, Hopi and Navajo tribes whilst some of the beadwork is Cherokee. Our Turquoise is from the New Mexico and Arizona / Colorado region.
Turquoise is the birthstone of December and is believed by the Native Americans to be the stone of love and that it will produce happy thoughts by those who wear it, so true, it works for me!
